Star’s mC-Print receipt printers are super-compact and versatile, able to print from Apple, Android and Windows tablets and point of sale systems as well as directly from webshops, food ordering platforms and order@table apps using built-in Star CloudPRNT™ technology.
They also include hub functionality, controlling USB peripherals attached to the printer including Cash Drawer, Scanner and Customer Display.

Web and Cloud POS Printer
Star WebPRNT and CloudPRNT functionality are included as standard with all mC-Print models for printing from a local or central server. Using Star CloudPRNT, merchants are able to seamlessly integrate online receipting and order printing from webshops and food ordering platforms into their store or restaurant.
It is well known Tablet POS has many advantages over traditional Terminal POS but the key disadvantage until now has been the inability to attach peripherals, let alone control them from Cloud-based software.

The existing iOS, Android and Windows Tablet POS can now be fully cabled if required with direct printer connectivity over the Lightning USB or USB-C interface providing device charging as well as control of Star peripherals over USB. No expensive Bluetooth scanners or displays needed. Additionally, with Star’s unique SteadyLAN technology the tablet is able to connect to the internet without WiFi communication via the Lightning or USB-C cable from the LAN connected printer ensuring a stable connection at all times. Once the tablet is disconnected from the printer, it will revert to WiFi or Bluetooth as required.
Versatile Cloud-based software that can be quickly changed according to market developments with fast, in-store scalability –add another POS station device by simply logging into the supported, current software.
